Well this is a situation I never thought I'd find myself in! My friends have successfully convinced me that my life is incomplete without a blog and consequently I find myself typing, wondering what on earth to share with the world. I thank Caitlan DeArton for being the blogging world's biggest advocate and Maryn Smith for walking me through the actual process of making this blog my own. At this point I realize that I have no idea what to write about and after consulting Maryn this is what I was told:
Me: ummmm what do I write about?
Maryn: anything your little heart desires. it's kind of awkward and a little uncomfortable at first. you feel really vulnerable but with practice you will get better.
Also some other things that will remain undisclosed *but thank you Maryn*
I think the part that confuses me is that I'm not sure who I'm writing to right now but I was told to write about whatever I'm thinking about at this very moment.
Right now I'm thinking that I'm hungry, I wonder if Sydnee will let me borrow some money for the vending machine here at work. And of course typing the word hungry is especially funny because every time I type it I want to capitalize it and stick an 'a' in there. The looming reality that I will someday soon (and yet so far away) be in that beautiful country ebbs and flows as I continue my sentence in Provo.
And so I am now, of course, inspired to blog about the most important event that is constantly on my mind but I feel so strange writing about it. On April 21, 2010 I will enter the MTC to be prepared to serve an LDS mission in Hungary! I can still hardly believe that I'm actually being given this opportunity let alone to experience it in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I get to take what's most important to me in the world and tell people about it. What an opportunity.
So, being the amateur that I am, that's all I have to share right now! By the way, Sydnee did give me the money for the vending machine!
This is my place:
yes... my life is now complete. nice post!
